Where WE ARE

Through the hard work of our athletes, and generous support of our donors, Sonoma State University Rowing Team has made amazing progress over the past few years. Coming into the second semester of our 15th year, we have made an outstanding name for ourselves on campus. We currently have 40 athletes training daily.

The EVent

We will be participating in an Erg-A-Thon where each rower will attempt to complete/row for 24 hours on an erg (rowing machine) on campus. In the spring, our athletes compete in 2000-meter races (6.5 to 8 minutes).

Our Goal

It is our goal to raise $6,000 to help purchase spare parts, maintain our equipment, pay for races that will allow us to grow and continue to provide a competitive experience for the student-athletes involved. Each of our athletes already contributes over $1000 each year to help sustain the day-to-day costs of running the team. From these dues, we are able to cover coaching fees, boathouse fees, and travel expenses.

How Can you Help

As a student funded club, all of the money that it takes to run the team comes directly from the rowers themselves. We are now asking for your assistance. We are looking for donations via a flat donation.
